Master Number

A master number is one of the three double numbers 11, 22, and 33. Unlike every other total in numerology, they are not reduced to a single digit, because tradition treats them as carrying a stronger, more demanding version of the energy of 2, 4, and 6.

Common questions

Why are 11, 22, and 33 not reduced?
Numerology treats them as amplified versions of 2, 4, and 6. Reducing them would hide that extra intensity, so they are kept as double numbers.
Is 44 a master number?
Most numerologists say no. The traditional set is 11, 22, and 33. Some modern authors extend the idea to 44 and beyond, but that is a minority view.
Do master numbers only appear in the life path?
No. They can appear in any core number, including the destiny, soul urge, and personality numbers, and even in cycle numbers like the personal year.
