Master Number
A master number is one of the three double numbers 11, 22, and 33. Unlike every other total in numerology, they are not reduced to a single digit, because tradition treats them as carrying a stronger, more demanding version of the energy of 2, 4, and 6.

Common questions
- Why are 11, 22, and 33 not reduced?
- Numerology treats them as amplified versions of 2, 4, and 6. Reducing them would hide that extra intensity, so they are kept as double numbers.
- Is 44 a master number?
- Most numerologists say no. The traditional set is 11, 22, and 33. Some modern authors extend the idea to 44 and beyond, but that is a minority view.
- Do master numbers only appear in the life path?
- No. They can appear in any core number, including the destiny, soul urge, and personality numbers, and even in cycle numbers like the personal year.
