Personal Month

The personal month number narrows the personal year down to a single month. It is calculated by adding your personal year number to the current calendar month and reducing the result, giving that month its own shorter-term theme. It changes every month, moving faster than the personal year but slower than the personal day.

How it's calculated

  1. Find your personal year number for the current year.
  2. Add the number of the current calendar month (January = 1, through December = 12).
  3. Reduce the total to a single digit from 1 to 9.

Example In a personal year 9, the month of March (month 3): 9 + 3 = 12, then 1 + 2 = 3. That March is a personal month 3.

Common questions

How is the personal month different from the personal year?
The personal year sets the broad theme for the whole year, while the personal month narrows that theme down to a single month. Both use the same nine-year cycle logic, just at different scales.
Does the personal month reset every year?
Yes. Because it is built from the personal year, a new personal month sequence begins each time the personal year changes, typically around the new year or your birthday.
Can a personal month be a master number?
Most numerologists reduce personal months to a single digit from 1 to 9 rather than keeping 11 or 22, since the cycle is meant to move quickly through all nine themes.
