Name Number
A name number is the total value of any name being analyzed — a person's own name, a baby name under consideration, or a brand name — found by converting each letter to a number and adding them up. Which letters count and which table is used depends on the system: Pythagorean numerology totals the full birth name, while Chaldean numerology totals the name a person actually uses and reads it as a compound number before the final reduction.
