Corrections Log

When we get something wrong — a historical claim, a number, a promise — we fix it and note it here. This log covers substantive corrections: changes that alter what a page claims, not routine copy-editing. It exists because a site that asks for your trust should show its working.
  1. Historical accuracy

    Corrected the attribution of the modern A–Z letter chart: it was previously implied to be Pythagoras's invention with an over-precise date (569 BCE). Content now presents the chart as a modern system drawing on later Pythagorean ideas, with the scholarly dating convention (c. 570–495 BCE) and the caveat that Pythagoras left no writings. Added 'What's historically attested' and 'Limits' sections to every cultural tradition article, stating plainly where a system is a modern adaptation.

  2. Site statistics

    Unified the public counts. Different pages and languages previously claimed 45, 28, or 25+ calculators and conflicting tradition and language counts. All counts are now derived from a single catalogue and displayed identically everywhere.

  3. AI transparency

    Replaced the 'No AI-Generated Content' editorial claim, which contradicted our AI-personalised paid reports, machine translations, and AI-drafted Journal posts. The editorial guidelines now describe exactly where AI is used and where it is not.

  4. Privacy accuracy

    Scoped the 'never sent to our servers' privacy claims to the free calculators, where they are true. Report orders, the free mini report, saved people, and accounts do store submitted details; the privacy policy now says so explicitly and gained a section on AI processing, plus Stripe and email delivery under third-party services.

  5. Predictive language

    Rewrote copy that presented numerology as prediction or fact — including 'reveals where your life is heading', 'the universe supports you both', and 'remarkably accurate' — with attributed language that presents readings as the tradition's interpretation. Added a visible tradition-not-science note beneath calculator results.

  6. Languages

    Stopped advertising all 67 languages to search engines while only English pages actually existed, which had produced tens of thousands of alternate links pointing at missing pages. Language versions are now only advertised once their pages exist and their translation passes a completeness threshold; our language statistics were also regenerated from real data after months of a stale file claiming 100% for every language.
